Olívia Branco is a Brazilian musical theatre performer, choreographer and movement director originally from São Paulo and currently based in Germany. Known for her versatility and strong stage presence, she combines extensive performance experience with a solid background in choreography and movement direction.
She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Dance Arts from UNICAMP, one of Brazil’s most prestigious universities. Her training also includes classical ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance and acting and physical theatre at the Experimental Center of Performing Arts SESI-SP.
Her vocal training includes work with renowned Brazilian teachers Bianca Tadini, Daniel Salve and Amélia Gumes, and more recently with Willemijn Verkaik.
Olívia has built a diverse career in musical theatre, performing in major productions while also contributing to creative teams. Her stage credits include Swing and Cover Queen Iduna in Frozen – Das Musical in Hamburg and Stuttgart, as well as Grizabella and Cover Jennyanydots in Cats, Swing and Dance Captain in Sister Act, Ensemble and Cover Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Ensemble and Cover Carmen Diaz in Fame, and Ensemble in Evita.
Alongside her performing career, she has worked extensively on the creative side of musical theatre, serving as Resident Choreographer for The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked, and as Resident Movement Director and Assistant Resident Director for Les Misérables. She also created the movement direction for Nautopia – The Musical and 12 Flores Amarelas – The Rock Opera.
Since 2022, Olívia has also been working as the Brazilian casting correspondent for AIDA Cruises, supporting the audition process and identifying performers for international cruise productions.
Combining artistic sensitivity with technical precision, Olívia is a highly adaptable performer and creative collaborator, equally at home on stage and within the creative team.
